Second week of May??

So what do all you vets think? Second week of May, a Wed-Sun? Or would it be better to flip it and do Sat-Wed?? Memorial weekend isn't for another almost 2 weeks, everyone should be in school... looks like the calendar is up and they are doing fireworks and F! on the weekends...

Thoughts all?? I wanna book soon... I can hardly wait to start planning!

I'm going the 3rd week of May (18-23) and HOPING it's not too bad. I expect it might start to get busy that Thursday b/c of Memorial day weekend, but hopefully not before that.

But I agree with the other and make it Sun - Wed so you have low crowds at the end rather than the beginning.

I can not believe how dang excited I am! And this time I am not going to tell DD in advance... just going to wake her up at 3 am for the ride to the airport with "Do you want to go to Disneyland?!"

We will be there the 14-17..should be OK I hope, although seems like it is ALWAYS busy now. Park hours seem geared toward lower (although that's relative) times.
The first Grad Night is the 15th, but from stuff I could find that doesn't start until after normal closing times..is that right? (I hope)

Since Mother's day is the 11th, you will have a great Mother's Day at DLR with your DD! We were there on the same weekend last year and Mother's Day really wasn't that crowded at all. They have a table out front with carnations for all the Moms to wear. My DS loved picking one out for me to wear on that day. I hope you and your DD have a great time!

Ooh cool! Didn't even know it was Mother's day that weekend... and I am planning on talking my mom into coming over from AZ at least Sat-Sun... so it will really be a great weekend!

We went at around this time last year (we timed it to fall in between Mother's Day & Memorial Day) & it was awesome! The weather was great, the crowds were not too bad at all.....I would definately go at that time again. I would do the Sat-Wed for the same reasons as the other posters. The Friday night was insane crowd wise but it was the night before the POTC3 premier so that would not have helped the crowd levels. Through the week was perfect though!

P.S. I should add that we skipped the weekend entirely (except the Friday) because of the movie premier so I can not comment on the crowds at that point but would assume that they were much bigger than usual because of it.

We will be going to DL May 10-14 and am hoping the crowds are too big as well.
