I'm thinking of going March 6 - 14 next year. I have a friend who works for disney and has been going there for years and she said the first couple weeks in March are good crowd wise. On easywdw most of this time is at a 9!

Does anybody go during this time?? How are the crowds? And how is the weather? Is there another time between Feb and April that is better? (I know May is good :) )

Thanks!!

DD and I have been twice over her birthday, March 13 and found it to be fairly crowded. But we had a great time both trips, we just hit the parks early and went to the pool in the afternoon and went back to the parks at night.

Hmm okay! I mean...it shouldn't be the spring break crowds yet..

It is a fairly busy time because in Canada, we have march break instead of spring break. All schools have 1 week of march off (and they are all different weeks)

Hubby and I honeymooned at Disney in 2006 and were were there from March 1-8, it wasn't SUPER packed, but still much busier than our family trip in 2011 late jan/early feb

The end of February is way better than March. College spring breaks usually start in early March, it is VERY crowded early March until the week after Easter.

I'd say March probably really depends on when Easter falls, but it is bound to be more crowded than February. Our spring break is always in March also and it has been a different week of March almost every year, ranging from the second week to the last. As someone said, colleges do theirs starting that first week. I know lots of people in my area like to travel in early March to get a break from the long winter and hope for warmer weather by the time they return.

I'm sure it was not as busy as the weeks before and after Easter, but it was crowded. By about 10:30 the line for Space Mtn was over 100 minutes every morning we did MK.

We still had a great time and actually the first trip just her and I is probably my favorite trip ever despite the crowds. We had so much fun. I would not really want to go that week for our family trip if I had a choice of another less busy time, but if it was all I had I would go ahead and go.
