Second Week of December

OK- we went the first week of Dec. in 2004 and thought the crowds were very low- we were thrilled! However, we avoided the values b/c of the pop warner events. Now we are considering a trip this upcoming Dec. and are looking at the week of Dec. 10-16 to stay in a value and save money. Will the crowds be as low as the week before? When do the Christmas crowds begin?

We're planning to go on December 7th - 16th. From what we have heard, the crowds might pick up a little starting the 15th, but no real problems and everything before that should be very low.

Crowds start to pick up around the 20th, as kids get out of school. The first 2 weeks of December are among the least crowded of the year. We are going Dec 9-16 and this is something like our 5th or 6th December trip. You'll love it.

This will be our 2nd Dec trip-2005 was the week after Thanksgiving. It was great. We are also going Dec 9th-16th. Staying BWI Deluxe Concierge again-Can't wait!!!

Thanks guys- that is what I thought! Now, dh is going to change jobs soon (not by choice) and let's hope his new boss will let him take a vacation then!!!

Ok now I am concerned. We are going Dec 15 to 19. I know the weekends are more crowded, but I did not want my DD4 to miss much school (Pre-K). When we went in Sept 2005, the crowds were not bad at all, maybe a 10 minute wait. Are the crowds going to be bad then?

We're going November 30 through December 8, 2006. Don't think the crowds will be too bad then. We can't wait!

We went December 11-17 2004. The crowds were pretty much non-existent. (sp?) It was busy during the MVMCP on that Sunday, and the crowds began to pick up on Friday. But during the week we NEVER waited for anything, just walked right in. Including Fantasmic, Space Mountain, and the Safari. The only con was the weather, we were freezing! Three out of the five days we were there the high was only 60, and that was still really cold. HTH.

We are going Dec 3-10 this year. It is my birthday trip. I am so excited. Glad to hear crowds are non-existent.

We went the last half of that (second) week in 2005. The crowd level was great. On Thursday we were able to walk into CP at Epcot. We got in the standby line about 30 mins. before the second show started and had great seats. By the weekend things had started to pick up; the third week in Dec. was a lot busier.
