Second Pin Code?

I got a pin code yesterday. Great offer ($156 PP, $169 DLH, $231 GCH)!!!

The dates are for 9/1-9/24. I think I got the pin because we recently stayed at GCH with our APs, but I also did do the "saved offer" thing.

We are going for MHP on the 31st (just got our costumes on Friday!) and our dates are actually 10/30-11/8. I know new website offers will come up and I can get the AP rate, but any chance I'll get another Pin for that time period? Even if I don't get exactly $231, I think that will be lower than the Special Offer or AP rate.

Those look a bit like 30%, 25% 20% or a 35%, 30%, 25% off (GCH, DLH, PPH) to me. Might be a sign of what's coming in the fall offseason.

Will you get that during Halloween party season? Maybe. But I think things will be tightening up during the "sort of" off season times.

I have received 3-4 pin codes this year, none of which are good during our dates. The last one I received was for the month of October.

These rates you got are definitely because of the Saved Offer. You probably wouldn't get an offer because you stayed onsite quite so quickly (it usually takes a while for those kinds of offers to go out), and also soon after Saving an offer. Plus, the rates you got are also on some of the other Saved Offer PIN's floating around. Usually the ones geared to AP holders or directly at former guests will have slightly different rates, even just differing by $5 at times (meaning an AP-directed offer could be $5 more or less than a PIN generated by another source/cause). So this offer you mentioned is definitely directly related to the Save.

You may get another PIN with a higher GCH rate (like the PIN I received has a higher GCH rate). My PIN covers 10/16 - 10/31. They could send you that one, but they may send you another PIN for sometime in November that is beyond your dates. That's what's been happening to several people - they are starting to get offers that don't cover their dates. I doubt you will see anything lower than $231 for the GCH for Halloween/early November.

Or, that could be the only PIN for now. I think we are all lucky if we get one PIN, but to receive another one so soon after the first one might be a longshot.

Thanks, everyone. I figured this was going to be the one and only Pin I would receive, but I will still hold out (realistically low) hope for a new one.

Sherry, thanks for the saved offer tip earlier in the year -- it obviously works! We will stay at GCH no matter what, but it does give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when you get a good deal!

WOW, how lucky to get 2 pins! I am crossing my fingers to get one so that we can stay onsite! I keep picturing seeing the email in my inbox, lol!
