Second guessing Whispering Canyon???

I think it might depend on the age of your kids too. The last time we were there, my DD was 3 1/2 and she loved the pony express and all of the other fun things we did during our meal. I can see how older kids would find it a little hokey and not be that into it. The other thing I like about it is that there is noise and it's okay for the kids to get down from the table and run around a little bit. Anyone w/ kids under 5 knows how hard it can be to get your kids to sit still and be quiet during their meals. These are 2 things I have to deal with when we are at "regular" restaurants, so it's nice to not have to worry about that here!

We are going to WDW next week and booked WCC again and can't wait:)

My kids are DS11, DD7 & DD18months---so I think they'll enjoy it!! I'm not worried about the food as much as I am about the service. I know wherever we eat there could be bad servers but lately I've heard a lot about WC servers. I just want to eat & have fun at the same time. (who doesn't right!);)

We won't be going back anytime soon. Food was fine (at best) and our service sucked. Our waiter was impossible to find, antics were minimal. We were seated in an area with very few tables that is secluded between the two dining rooms. Part of the problem could be from that.

You hit the nail on the head!:thumbsup2

I would suggest trying it for yourself and see what you think. People react differently to the same situation, so what might have been a bad dining experience for one person (food, atmosphere, etc) might be a good time for another. Enjoy your trip! :)

we LOVE WCC and will def. be going back. wehad the most amazing server we have had the whole trip. DH got the skillet and asked for more ribs and the sevrer brought him out a RACK of ribs he was in heaven! we had so much fun intereacting witht eh server, he learned our names and called us by tehm all night. we got to do a pony ride and sing you are my sunshine wile riding around, and we did a kissing contest, we had a blast as two twenty something adults!
