Second guessing Poly/BC split - need help deciding!

I'd recommend checking into exactly how much you'll save by spending that first night at a Mod. Of course I understand why but there's a lot to be said for waking up fresh that first morning, and knowing you're "home" for a while.
Are you using the Awaken Summer resort offer? Unfortunately, Polynesian and BC seem to be discounted the least I'm staying at Polynesian in August and the discount is only 15% off this year.
