Are those rooms any larger since they lack a balcony?

Not that I'm aware of. The balcony is outside the footprint of the building, KWIM? So the rooms start and end at the exact same place, no matter what floor you are on.

That's what I was afraid of. I requested 1st or 3rd floor and I am starting to get concerned if I do not get it that I am not going to be happy.
