I'm planning a trip to San Diego, and I'm looking at the pre-purchase SeaWorld tickets.

Everything is clear, but this one:

Get Up Close and Behind-the-Scenes with a SeaWorld San Diego Deluxe Admission

Get an exclusive view of SeaWorld from behind-the-scenes—learn things about the animals and sea life that no one else knows. When you buy a Deluxe Admission you’ll have the best of both worlds—knowing the backstage story and then taking in everything that SeaWorld has to offer. And to make this offer even more special, we’re inviting you to return for a complimentary visit to re-live all the wonders of SeaWorld San Diego.

And when I hover over the "know before you go" area, it says that it involves going to two areas inside of one hour, to exchange the admission voucher for a tour voucher, and that the second day ticket is to be used within 7 days.

My question is...is the first part, the behind the scenes, ONLY behind the scenes and then you have to go, or can you spend the day at SeaWorld after doing that tour?

Thanks!

By the way, we've done the buy one get 2 days pass, and it was GREAT. So if this was like that, but with an hour of a tour, it would be beyond great.

Hmm. I would have to guess that you get to go to Seaworld twice, I mean, you will go INTO Seaworld to get to the back area, what are they going to do, escort you to the exit when you are done!?!? The employee only area is in the back corner by the tidepools so that would be my assumption that you would be admitted to the park and show up at X time at X location for your tour.

My dad was friends with an marine biology employee there once (I'm sad that she was just a college student and doesn't work or live there anymore!!) and she gave us a private behind-the-scenes tour when my son was three (I think your boy is about that age?)...anyway, it was super cool. I am not sure how hands on it would be for a "normal" behind-the-scenes tour, I'm sure that it would be more looking and less touching and helping (we got to feed eels and touch turtles, and get closer to some of the displays that the actual tour that passed us at some point did), but it looks like the regular tour is still pretty neat.

You should call them and see what they say, and see if they will let you bring a stroller in. He will probably want to use it if it's a lot of standing and listening.

I was at Seaworld on Wednesday and asked for you. The Deluxe admission includes 2 days visiting the entire park. I am not sure about the behind the scenes tour offered with it.
