SeaWorld souvenir lunchboxes?

I was wondering if they were still doing this? I have seen a few older trip reports of people where they mention a hard plastic Shamu lunchbox that the kid's meals come in (I don't know if they are extra or not). Can someone fill me in on these and if they are still available? I KNOW my boys would both love them, but I don't want to mention it if it's not available anymore. We're going in Sept, and this park is likely to be a huge highlight for me and the boys. So excited!

Not that I have seen on any of our trips. The kids meals that we saw were served in a disposable Shamu paper-type tray. I am sure you might be able to find something like you are seeking in the gift shops, though.

About 4 or 5 years ago they had special lunch boxes during Christmas. That was the last time I remember seeing them as part of a meal purchase.

Next time I am out in a store I will see if there is any type of lunchbox, I don't recall seeing any but it is not something I would normally notice.

It's been several years since they had the Shamu lunch boxes. Meals right now come in a plain old cardboard container but sometimes they give you a Shamu hat (similar to the Burger King crowns) to go with it. Absolutely no rhyme or reason to when my daughter gets a hat and when she doesn't though.

Probably better anyway. We have so much plastic "special" things collecting in their rooms already!

I know exactly what you are talking about - my children got them when we went 2 1/2 years ago. Sorry, I can't be of help for a recent trip but they did exist at one time - it wasn't a special time of year thing - all meals were served in them. Plastic blue shamu lunchboxes. I just checked, but we don't have ours anymore or I would have offered....

Good to know I'm not crazy! Well, maybe they will bring them back this summer, but with all the press and lower attendance, this seems like an easy cost saver. Thanks for the offer though! That is really sweet of you.
