Has anyone tried accessing the premium parking at SeaWorld using a child platinum pass? My DD will be going down over Columbus Day weekend with friends and she has her own Super Grover pass, but since she's 7 I wasn't sure if that would work to get the free parking since she won't have an ID. Anyone done this before? Not a huge biggie if it doesn't work, but would be a nice plus for the parents taking her along with them if it will! :goodvibes

I don't see why not, I don't know about on the East Coast, but in San Diego we have never been asked for ID when parking, but the Preferred Parking fills up fast.

Local to Sea World Orlando-we have been asked for ID every time for the last year. I once made the mistake of handing the TM my dd's pass and they insisted on HER license LOL. Then they wanted my license to make sure it was the same last name.

They never ID in Williamsburg...they scan my one of kids passes all the time as I just hand them which ever one is on top...I seem to recall getting asked for ID when there over the fourth this summer, but not previously.
If they give you a difficult time just tell that your princess is in the car and she deserves parking befitting her pass! She is a valid passholder entitled to that benefit.
I can't see that they would harass you too long--if you are kind and firm--as it would be holding up their (already freakingly) slow line! They can just ask her name as they do when gaining entrance into the park...if it is good enough for that...

Thanks everyone! We were asked for ID each time we went to SW Orlando in April 2013 (5 different days). I'll have the parents give it a shot. I figured since the pass doesn't say it excludes children from the parking benefit, why not try it? :cool1:

Considering how many blended families there are anymore, last names mean nothing!
