Seaworld Package Questions

We are planning a late August trip to SW and Disney. I have been thinking of spending a couple of nights at a SW Official hotel. Some of the offerings in the package seem nice BUT here is the catch. I do not need tickets for 2 out of 3 in my party - WE have Super Grover Platinum Passes. Of course I understand that I must purchase tickets for each person in my party BUT are these tickets for entry DATE SPECIFIC? or vouchers for tickets? or if I turn in voucher for tickets - can I use them anytime in the future? If they can be used at anytime this might be a good thing for us because often my son & I have Super Grover tickets but my mother usually does not. These tickets could be used on all the trips that we want to spend a day at SW and not spend a lot for tix for my mom.

I have experience with Disney tickets in packages ( good forever ) but not sure how SW handles this.

OR do any of the hotels offer Passholder discounts? and would they honor a Platinum Pass from another Worlds Of Discovery Park?
