I really like Seaword. Enjoy the Shamu show. With that being cancelled till? I was wondering if it were better to go to Busch Gardens? I have a 7 day pass to either with Discovery Cove. I just wasn't looking forward to the long drive to Busch. Should I take the drive? Is Busch Gardens worth it? I have never been there before (BG). I have done Seaworld 4 times.

Thank you

Depends on what your preference for animals is. Sea world has sea animals; Busch Gardens has land and air animals. It also depends on your preference for thrill rides is. Busch Gardens offers several roller coasters, a couple log flumes, and a rapids ride; Sea World offers a roller coaster and a flume ride.

I know that there is a shuttle that goes from Sea World to Busch Gardens, but I've never ridden it. If Busch Gardens does entice you, try this shuttle, or if you're planning on going to other Tampa attractions, do the drive.

Take the drive over to BGT since you've never been. It's 75 miles and 1.5 hours.

SWF has a shuttle that goes over to BGT.

Only thing with the shuttle, is you won't get to BGT until 11am and your early morning advantage will be gone. If you have a rental car, then leave Orlando around 07:00am so you can arrive the parking lot at 08:30am.

I liked BG much better than SW, but it's true that it just depends on whether you prefer sea or land animals. I had a rental car and drove, and really the drive wasn't bad at all. I think the edge that BG had over SW was the open air safari that they offer. It's an additional charge on top of your ticket, but it's really worth it. They bring a small number of guests out into the savannah on an open truck and you are able to feed giraffes and see the animals up-close. Either park is great, so I'm sure you'll enjoy whichever one you choose.

I agree with ruzer28. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Both places are great and each has its own distinct character.

You have to decide....what do you like better, rides or shows? If you like shows and your DDHRHDHDDHE(whatever) is to small or doesnt like coasters, go for SW. If you want to give the coasters a try and like regular land animals...go for BGT.
