I just noticed that the Journey To Atlantis ride will be down for refurb during the day I was palnning on visiting SeaWorld. Should I change my weekday planned visit to a Saturday visit, or is this ride not really worth the crowds on a weekend???

Also, is Legoland pretty busy in September on the weekends???

Thanks,
Heather

It depends on what you enjoy. Journey to Atlantis is 1/2 log flume ride and 1/2 roller coaster. It's a very good fun water ride. The coaster 1/2 is fun but rather short and rather tame as coasters go.

That said sometimes weekends are better to go to SeaWorld if the hours are extended till night. The Sea Lion show as well as the Shamu show both have night time versions which are different than the day time shows and are well worth seeing. If open late during the week thats even better.

We were at Seaworld on Sunday and went right at opening. I don't know if it was a normal day or not, but we pretty much had the place to ourselves until well after lunch time, and even then it was not bad at all. Even at the last Shamu show of the night, the arena was only about 3/4 full.

Journey to Atlantis is a great ride! I would suggest changing your days around if it would allow you to ride it! Either way SW is fun!:goodvibes

Thanks everyone!! I think we will change our plans and go on Saturday, for the ride and for the extended hours!! :thumbsup2
