Seaworld Historically Crowded on Xmas Day?

Is Seaworld historically crowded on Xmas Day? If we got there say in the afternoon, would all the rides and shows have long lines?

Not sure on Christmas Day. Have never gone to the park that day, but have made the mistake of going Christmas week 2 years ago. It took us over an hour and a half to get intro the parking lot. Inside the park we really weren't able to get into any of the shows so ended up spending the day watching the sea lions, manatees, etc. that didn't require getting into line 2 hours early to see a show.
Last year they added the Christmas shows so I imagine the park is even more crowded during Christmas week.

Polar Express is definitely worth a wait, though. The theming is really good for a ride that lasts only about 40 days. I wouild say get there before opening, stay till closing if you decide to go so that you will have time to do things in the park.

That said, I haven't been to the park in the last month or so. I am not sure how the economy is effecting the park. I know that BG and SW have had lay offs but not sure at which parks, etc.

Word from employees is that Christmas day itself is usually not that bad at Sea World--not empty, not not overly crowded, either. As Rabflmom mentioned above, tho, the week after, expect body-to-body crowds, shows filling over an hour in advance, and closings for capacity.

As having both Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day in the past...expect the crowds to be very low up until around 12p-2p, when people will start to come in. Thats when a lot of the locals tend to visit. it wont be OVERLY crowded, but it will pick up a bit.
