SeaWorld closes early Thursday Oct 6 and is closed Friday Oct 7 due to hurricane

It was just announced that SeaWorld will close at 2 PM on Thursday Oct 6 and will not open at all on Friday Oct 7.

Aquatica is closed both Thursday and Friday

Discovery Cove is open until 4 PM on Thursday and is closed on Friday

Although I have not seen announcements it would not surprise me if all local parks are closed on Friday. So far it looks like Busch Gardens is still open, so that might be a possibility for anyone looking for alternative plans.

Disney hasn't announced anything yet (they are currently still scheduled to be open)

Disney and Universal have now both announced they are closing at 5 PM on Thursday and will remain closed all day Friday.

does anyone know if any staff will stay there for the orca, dolphins and the rest of the animals?

Yes. SeaWorld had a rideout crew that stayed to take care of the animals
