hi guys! :goodvibes

I'm doing a travel speech on Seattle WA.

i have a budget of $6000, i already have my hotel and flight but am having a hard time deciding what to do when there and places to eat.

if you guys could help that would be great!

Well Seattle is a pretty cool city with tons to do! First off there's the space needle which is deffinately the monumen of Seattle there's a really good restaurant at the top
of there! Also there's the EMP (Experience Music Project) which some pretty cool stuff you can go do your own performances in front of a simulated live audience to learn what it's like to be a movie star. Also you can learn how to play instruments and even record your own cd. That's kind of cool... Then there's the Seattle science center they have some amazingly cool things there and it's one of my favorite places in Seattle. Theres also the woodland park zoo personally I don't like the zoo but if you like animals it can be fun also we have some pretty bad sports teams like the marineers and sea hawks

ETA: Also there's pikes place market which has the first starbucks ever and things like people frowing fish and killer doughnuts!!

thanks!! that's so helpful!

let me add some details: i was rushing when i posted that earlier...

this is for my speech class. i am "competing" with another girl to see who can plan the better trip (by my teachers standards) and book his trip. it has to be 5 to 8 minutes long, and i have to use a powerpoint ( ) to present it.

the trip can only be 7 days long. 7. no more. no less. that does include travel days, no extra days for traveling basically. i chose july 1st (a thursday) through the 7th (wednesday). i do already have a flight picked, but that could be changed if need be.

i have also already selected the hotel. i picked the Hyatt at Olive 8. beautiful!! but i suppose if need be that could be changed as well.

i have to present one meal and one activity for each day.

so the thing is i have to make this appealing to my teacher. it a "trip" for him and his wife. so here are a few things about them:
His wife is DEATHLY afraid of fish. living or dead. so anything involving fish is out!
He owes her a trip to a piano bar after he ruined her surprise on a cruise...
He likes baseball. she doesn't mind it but it's not something she would jump at.
His favorite color is green... not sure how that helps but who knows...
He likes cities. he likes to be in the middle of things and like the structures of buildings and stuff.
If they need to rent a car it needs to be kept simple. They own a Toyota Prius
He would prefer to leave a small carbon footprint and use public transportation if possible.
His wife enjoys spas... he doesn't exactly like the fact "Hans" will have his hands on his wife...
HE IS A THEATER JUNKIE. he is (obviously) my speech teacher but also teachers theater classes and play production. He also directs many of the school plays. I would say that this is one of the more important aspects to keep in mind.

so yeah... i hope this clears things up a bit!!

The Space Needle is always a great option in Seattle, and if he loves baseball a mariniers game would be perfect.
