Seating large parties

Will any of the restaurants put two or more tables together to accomadate very large groups or do they just try to seat you near each other?

They will move tables together--especially if you ask. You might have it noted on the ADR that you would all like to sit together.

We were seated as a group of 18 on one trip!

Depends on how large your group is. We had 24 at Kona Cafe a few years ago and although many of us sat together, there were a couple of groups at different tables. At Crystal Palace last year we had 17 and had tables next to each other (which worked out better since those in the middle only had to crawl over one or two people not more).

I didn't think our party of 7pp was that large - but I just tried making our ADRs and had very poor selections of time (4:50 w/ two tables or 8:50 w/ 1 table). This will be our first time with such a *large* group so it's hard for me to picture the bigger tables in the restaurants. Are there really so few? Any suggestions? I guess I'll keep calling back to check availability!

Thanks. Our party will be from 10-15 people depending on the meal. We really would all like to sit together whenever possible.

The only restaurant where that's probably not going to happen is Teppanyaki.

That will be our party size as well. When I made my ADR's I was told that we would be seated at two tables, and no guarantees, but hopefully they would be next to each other!
