I just notice there are 3 tiers of restaurants you can get your fantasmic show pkg with. I was just wondering, does the "tier" you get ( in other words which restaurant) you eat at make a difference where your reserved seating area is. Or is there one whole section for the dinner pkg people.
Simpler said would be:
If I eat at one of the cheaper restaurants, do I get worse seats than someone who eats at the most expensive of the three restaurants?

When we went last October there was only one seating area for Fantasmic Package folks no matter which of the 3 tiers they ate at. It was actually a bit to one side, but given the nature of the show that didn't matter at all.

No, everyone sits together. You won't know who paid more for Brown Derby! The seating is first come, first served though, so try to get there as soon as posible! When we did it, the seating was all the way over to the right. Still good seats, but not in the middle, where my DS wanted to sit! The funny thing is it was early DEC and I don't think we even needed it. Two nights later we walked in as the show was starting and got seats with as good a view as the package ones! Because of limited seating at busier times (like Summer) it would definatly be worth it because it would gaurantee you a seat without arriving 90 mins before the show.

Thanks! We are going in June, so I think I'll reserve a dinner pkg. :teeth:

We were just there and had the FDP at Mama Melrose. We enjoyed the meal ( yummy bread, salad, flatbread, entree, and desert). The dinner package section is in the first two sections to the right as you face the stage. It is first come, but all the seats have a great view, so don't worry too much about that. They use a water screen to project images on. There are three of these set ups; one in the middle and one on each side. We had a straight view of this.

We did the package over Easter Break last year. Didn't think it was worth it. There were plenty of seats available. People who entered through the main entrance were sitting in the reserved section. And even though you get a good view anywhere, we moved to the center(which wasn't the "preferred" section) and were able to get all 5 of us together.

pplasky - Glad you had a good experience during a crowded time!!! I have been to Fantasmic on a "regular" day and been very glad of my "reserved" seating, as otherwise I would have had to stand in line two hours and still take my chances with a mob of people. I think it depends on whether Fantasmic is "sold out", if there's not such a crowd you can sometimes walk in and do fine, but during really busy shows the package does come in handy.
