Hi,
We'll be taking our first cruise in January with a total of 6 adults in our group. Is it likely that we will have a table to ourselves? or will we be seated at a big table for 10/or as a group of 4 and a group of 2??

Anyone with any experiences on this?
TIA!
:)

If you link your reservations, you'll definately be seated at the same table. You can request a table for 6, though I didn't see too many on our last cruise. It was usually either tables for 4 or larger tables of 8, 10, and 12. So, you might get a table for 6, or you might be seated with another family....

Thank you for your reply Lori! :)

We do have our reservations linked (as I'm paying for the others too). I guess I'm not surprised that table sizes would go from 4 to 8. Still though, that's not bad. Having a family of 4 or another couple wouldn't be a bad thing. We'll only be doing the rotational dinning on two of our four nights, So now I need to figure which between Animators/Parrot Cay or Triton's to skip!??

Have to give a vote not to skip AP b/c of the cool show--the kids will love it! Watching the colors change from black and white throughout dinner is fun even for the adults.

Just my $.02!! :earsboy:

FYI- We had 6 people in our party for our Wonder cruise last December, and we were seated at a table for 6 by ourselves.

our group of six on my aug. 2004 cruise had a table all to ourselves. We had linked reservations though.

Last time i went we had a table for 8, and since you are all adults you will more than likely get your own table =)

if you had to skip any, make you choices by food, I do sugjest the Passporter for some sample menus, ours turned out to be really close, and jsut a quick reference, Triton's/Lumiere's is more of an elegant place, parrot cay has got the normal 'American' Food and Animators pallete is just terrific food, there isint a particular group to place it, but tis all good

Only 47 days till my next cruise on April 9th!!!! :hourglass

when I am traveling with husband we like to be at a large table to meet other people. But with the kids one of which is 4 years old we can sit by ourselfs that is fine. I always eat lunch and breakfast in dinning room and daugh and kids don't so I get to sit with others then.

Our 2006 group will be 11 people, so they better be able to seat us all together :P

Both cruises I've been on (both on Wonder and late seating) we've sat at a table for 6. The first cruise was just DH and myself (our 20th anniversary) and we sat with two other couples. Both young and one on actual honeymoon and the other on a belated honeymoon. Our last cruise there were 6 of us and we had a table for 6. This next cruise in June we'll have 7 and I wonder what sized table we'll be eating at.

They have a few tables for 12 in every dining room, I'm sure they'll be one reserved for you if you have joint reservations
