We love love love our Sears studio!

We have been extrememly pleased with all our pictures there, and find the staff very accomodating! We always request the same photographer now as she's been taking my kids since they were born (they are 5 and 3) We had lugged in many props of our own and always been worked with in that regard. IE...my mom made each baby a handstitched blanket when they were born...we took this in for a two year old picture to use as the background clamping it to the regular stand with clothespins. It turned out sooo cute and my mom was thrilled.
As mentioned above...the coupons are great....just hold firm on not adding on extras and the prices are great. To use the package coupon no longer requires that you use the "first approved" shot, so you can pick your favorite of the six poses taken.
Although I would definately go to
Walmart if Sears were not reasonable with coupon prices, I have used them in the past and was not pleased. I was in Walmart shopping and saw a "No wait" sign around the time my son was turning three. I thought, well, he's dressed cute and just had a haircut, and then no trip to another store, why not. I requested that his shoes not show since he had on his scuffed up tennis shoes, and was assured that the way the picture showed on the screen would be exactly what showed. My printout showed the shot on the screen--photo cut off near his knees but no, package comes back with shoes showing, plus was WAY off-center. I asked why they were SOOO different than the picture in my printout and was told they can't guarantee how much of the photo will show! What??? And why is it so off-center??? Oh, that happens sometimes. So, I returned them and went to Sears where we ended up with really cute shots.
I'm sure each Walmart experience is different based on the employee, but I was much happier with the photographer/child interaction as well as the photo quality at Sears.
