Hello Everyone!

I think nearly every edition of Disney Files has one Disney recipe in it. There is one that I found really interesting, it was for making a rub. I am not sure whether it was for steak or bbq or for what... Well, I thought it sounded interesting, proceeded to mix the rub and used it quite a bit since then. Now the mixture is gone and I want to mix it again. Of course I cannot find the Disney Files magazine it was in! It should have been sometime in the years 2013 to 2015, my suspicion is that it was the Summer 2014 issue. Supposedly you can access them online, but somehow I am not able to open any of the files on the DVC website (I get the notice that the file is damaged).

So, my request is: Is there any DISer out there who has the old issues of the Disney Files magazine and who is willing to look for that rub recipe for me? I would be very grateful if you could take a picture and post it here! Thank you very much in advance!

Thank you! That's it!

For whatever reason, I was not able to open the files on the DVC website. It kept telling me the file is damaged.

I get that message now also. I guess I was lucky to get in yesterday. Glad it was what you were looking for.

That is a great rub, by the way. We use it frequently. Slow cooking the meat enhances the flavor too.

Yes, I love the lemon pepper in it which gives it something special! So happy to have the recipe again. I already printed it off!

I can't open it.......but very interested. Is this for BBQ ribs, or any other meats, and at what temperature?
Thanks!
Lora

We use it primarily for chicken -- drumsticks, thighs, slowly cooked on the grill.

I think the original recipe is to use it for ribs. However, I use it for whatever I feel like. Have used it for chicken, salmon, pork...

As is so typical with Disney, there are many problems with the Web site. Here is an image of the whole page:
