Search Tags

It works--today when I started a tag about "If you could change your username, what would it be?", I tagged that thread with the word "username". If anyone searches for "username" as a tag (ie, key word), that thread will come up. I just tried searching and it did work. It's like putting a Post-it Note on any key words in the thread.

Ok, on a go-forward basis, I understand this. What happens when you want to search for an old post? There wouldn't be any tags associated with the posts. I just tried searching for an old topic, and it came back with no results.

I was thinking the same thing.

Is this right? It will only work if the OP tags their thread and then someone searching will have to put those exact words in a tag search?
