Google. However, Yahoo has revamped theirs and I use that if Google can't find what I am looking for and it has found some things.

Galaxy for business and science (http://www.galaxy.com)

Westlaw simple search for - yes, you guessed it - law!

This can be a very complicated question.

While most of the time, I like to use google form my information gathering needs, every once in a while I like to use the search engine vivisimo - located at http://www.vivisimo.com

You see, in order to gather the full scope of information that my web searches usually require, I like to use a number of these search engines for my Web Searching needs.

The history of the search engine is absolutely fascinating. You see, back in the mid 90's, a couple of college kids from Michigan got together and tried to impliment a system that served as the perfect way to search for information. And thus, the early days of google was born. They received corporate backing for their technology, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I'm going to get off the computer and go grab a beer now.

I second Vivisimo, have used them for a long time now and the results are pretty much on the money, for as much as the internet can provide that is
