Search - doing strange things

anybody else having problems with the search? it seems to be giving me strange results

Told me that is disabled for me. I thought it was just me.

Now that is strange... usually it doesn't work at all, but now anything I want to find appears but when I click on new posts I get disabled!

well, not I'm getting things, buy the layout looks different and has different options than it did earlier today. Do you think they are working on it or upgrading it?

I didnt notice that dog before.

I use it a lot and almost never have a problem, but it told me i was disabled aas well

If I can't go by new posts its going to be a pain to know everything that I miss while I'm away. Thats the way I keep up with multiple boards.

looks like they're doing an upgrade with a different search engine module. "Boardtracker". Given the "categories" in advanced search, it's probably stil being customized.

I've not been able to search for a few days now, then today I'm also getting the disabled message. At least I know it's not just me or my PC and hopefully things will be back to normal soon

Just found this post on the UK section.....


We are trying a new search system. The system is actually run by an outside company called Board Tracker. The advantage to us is it should SERIOUSLY reduce server loads resulting in far less "server busy" messages and the ability of our existing servers to handle more traffic.

I will start a thread on the tech support board for this. If you see any problems please go to this thread:
