As in the large 18" tiles that are on the floor. Has anyone done this? What did you use (brand name if you know it), how did you apply it, was it hard to do and how do you like it?

I spent most of the morning cleaning the grout in one bathroom and the hallway. I feel like someone beat me up with a 2 by 4. :guilty:

Any other tips or comments would be appreciated. :thumbsup2

OK, I can't help you with brand name because I don't remember it, but I did get it at Home Depot. It came in a bottle with an tiny, angled sponge applicator tip. It is clear and looks like water actually! You just run it along the grout lines and wait for it to dry.

We had decided to change the grout color on our kitchen and bathroom floors. We had white tiles with a bit of beige veins running through them and the grout was grey. I didn't like that grey. I had the grout color changed by a professional grout company that does that kind of stuff. I watched them though, and it looked easy enough. They had a little bottle of color that they squeezed out on the grout and used a toothbrush to spread it along the line. He wiped away the tile with a damp rag after a few lines were done to clean off any that got on the tiles. He didn't seal it, but told me "I should get it done soon or the color would come off when I cleaned the floor."
