We want to do at least one nice seafood meal on our trip this August. By nice I don't necessarily mean atmosphere, I mean great food!
We have a reservation for dinner at Fulton's Crab House on the Saturday night of our trip, but I've heard so many mixed reviews of the place that I'm wondering if it'd be better to look into other options. On property, off property, bit of a drive, doesn't matter. We're going to Clearwater beach that morning, so we would consider anything in that direction as well.
We've budgeted $175 for this meal (including tax and tip) taking Fulton's prices into account. We want to get the ultimate seafood platter for two, either an appetiser or soup, and kids meals and dessert for the girls. I've heard if you stick to crab and lobster at Fulton's you can get a pretty good meal, and crab and lobster is pretty much what we're wanting to get!
It doesn't have to cater to children, but it should be somewhere that we can bring the girls to (five and almost eight) without getting funny looks. Which is also part of why I picked Fulton's - being on Disney property people won't think twice about kids being there.
Oh, and preferably not a chain, unless it's a local place that's really over the top awesome.
