Sea World San Antonio ?

HELP!! We will not be able to make it to Disney this year So we thought we would make our 1st trip to Sea World San Antonio since we only live 4 hours away. I have been online searching for info on SW all night. I'm hunting for a group like this to ask questions. Does anyone know of anything out there? I was wondering if they have characters...do I need an autograph book? What to wear to the park...shorts or bathing suits? How is the locker situation? Things like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It has been a couple of years since I have been to seaworld SA. With you only living 4 hours away, I would get a season pass. It is only a few dollars more than a normal ticket and it gives you a 10% discount on food and merchandise and access all year long. You also get a coupon book with some really good savings. There were several buy one get on free coupons when we went.

There was a shamu character in the park. I don’t remember any other characters, but this may have changed since we have been. A lot of people wore swimsuits into the park with cover ups over them. I really like this park. You can go see the shows earlier in the morning and when it starts getting hot head to the water park. They do have lockers at the water park to put your stuff in. Enjoy!!!

1. They do have characters, but they do not sign autographs.
2. You need to at least wear shorts since it's pretty hot & humid. A bathing suit is nice to have handy as they have a great waterpark and great water rides. The new Journey To Atlantis ride is really nice & wet and perfect for a hot Texas afternoon.
3. There are more than enough lockers on-hand to secure items. They are really not needed, but if you have to store something in a locker, you'll be fine.

I would wear a swim suit with shorts/shirt on top of that. The dolphins soaked my whole family, && I mean it wasnt a little drop of water. we were drenched just from feeding them. Also at the shamu show you may get wet. Have fun! I was there 3 years ago =]
