We have been to Disney before, but never to other parks in Orlando. We are going to stay at Universal this summer, and saw that our hotel offers a free shuttle to Sea World. Is Sea World/Discovery Cove/Aquatica all together, or are they in separate locations? I saw on their website that you choose which parks you want to buy tickets to, but wasn't sure of their locations. If you could only pick one park from Sea World/Disc Cove/Aquatica to visit for one day, which one would you pick for a family who has never been to any of them?.....anyone

Discovery Cove is an all inclusive day and includes 14 days admission to SeaWorld or Busch Gardens or you can upgrade and have 14 days to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens. To get the most from your money I wouldn't suggest doing Discovery Cove if you can't use at least a day or two at SeaWorld or Busch Gardens. Others would disagree but Discovery Cove is about 289 a person for one day.

I'm not sure how close to each other Sea World, Aquatica and Discovery Cove are but I believe they are close but with separate parking areas.

If I had to pick one I would probably choose Aquatica just to have a water park day after all the park days at Disney. Sea World is another park like the Disney ones although it has alot more shows than rides. To me Sea World is kinda hard to do in one day because of the shows. Its been years since I've been to Sea World but even then we went 2 days because you can't fit all the shows in.

We are going to do Discovery Cove\Sea World\Aquatica and Busch Gardens this year on our June trip and we can't wait.

If price isn't a factor I would definitely pick Discovery Cove. I took my 7 yr old daughter last week and can't imagine there is a better theme park experience anywhere. It is fantastic and the look on your childs face while they are interacting with the Dolphin is priceless. That being said, Seaworld is also a beautiful park and because of all the shows it is a much more relaxing day than Disney.......not so much time spent in line. We also went to Aquatica last week and in my opinion it is the best waterpark in Orlando (with younger kids). The water is kept much warmer than the Disney parks. It was my daughters 2nd favorite day of the trip behind Discovery Cove. The parks are adjacent to each other and I believe they provide transportation, atleast between Seaworld and Discovery cove. I would think that your hotel will drop you off at whichever park you want. Hope this helps and if you have anymore question don't hesitate to pm me.
