I was just looking up the Sea World park hours for the week we'll be in Orlando (June 1-9) and it looks like Sea World will only be open until 7:00pm. Looking through the operating hours for April and May, however, it says they are currently open until 8:00pm. My browser was acting a little wonky so I'm not sure it was updating properly, but that doesn't make much sense to me. I would think that they would be open later during the summer months. Does anyone know if the 7:00pm closing time for June is accurate?

Summer Nights don't begin until June 22 this year so that's when the park starts staying open till 10. They add summer employees to keep the parks open later. My guess is they have to wait for kids to get home from college and out of school to get the seasonal help. August 11, it goes back to the shorter hours which is about when school starts here again, too.

Yep and the reason right now til may its open later is because its spring break time. Still not as late as summer nights. Schools here won't be out til june 7th. That is for our area. Most of them are the same but some are later.

Well that sucks. I knew we were going to miss the Summer Nights shows by a couple of weeks, but I was still hoping the park would be open later than it is. Oh well, hopefully we'll be able to do everything in the time we have alotted.

Thank you for the replies!

I wouldn't worry too much.

We were just there (April 9-13) and even with the longer "Spring Break" hours there was no wait for anything. We stayed at one of the SW hotels and got the free QuickQue passes, but didn't use them.

Same think with the lines at Busch Gardens last week.

I hadn't been to either park since I was a kid and I was surprised. We are used to Disney where you need a plan and to make the best use of FPs. It was not like that at all.
