We are going to Orlando June 10-15th.

we are just doing magic Kingdom on Monday so we are either going to do Aquatica and sea world on two different days or all in one day

we have Sesame Place season passes, so get Seaworld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica too

I read a lot of people do both in one day. I have a 4 and 5 year old

Would you do SeaWorld first and then go to Aquatica around 3-4pm

or the other way around

if we were going to split it up, would you do both later in the day?

this is our first "parks" trip, so not sure how the kids will do doing both in one day

so maybe doing SeaWorld on Saturday afternoon and Aquatica Sunday afternoon

will they be so packed and closed??

If you MUST do them both in 1 day, I'd suggest getting to SeaWorld when it opens and hitting your must-see shows or rides. You won't get much done in a half day (especially since the shows rae often timed to run at the same time and theaters are far from one another). Then hit Aquatica for the afternoon/evening, depending on when it closes.

That said, I do think each park warrants a full day each. SeaWorld is a beautiful park you can exlpore and would easily fill a full dayif you wanted to see a few shows and all the rides, plus hannds-on exhibits like sting rays or feeding dolphins. Aquatica is worth a visit, but don't fool yourself into thinking a waterpark day could be relaxing. It can still be a lot of walking and climbing stairs, swimming, etc. It can wear you as just as much as a theme park can... I only mention this in case your plan was to do a few things at SeaWorld and then "relax" the rest of the day, it doens't always feel that way.

Both are worthwhile though, especially SeaWorld. If you can, dedicate a day for each and you can enjoy tham at a leisurely pace.

Just my 2-cents. Enjoy your trip!

I agree with everything Taylor'sMom said previously. I'd go one step further and suggest two days at SeaWorld and one day at Aquatica. I'm not sure how you could possibly enjoy both parks in one day, and it's nearly impossible to see all of SeaWorld in one day. One day at SeaWorld would allow you to see all the basics if you plan your day well. I enjoyed Aquatica immensely, and I recommend a day there as well.

I agree. We struggle to do everything in Seaworld in one day, so theres no way you will fit in Aquatica as well.

thanks everyone

another question: i read old reviews of Aquatica how they have closed early due to attendance(although in June i dont think that will be a problem)

we will actually probably be going on a Saturday or sunday since we arrive Friday and leave Wed. and doing Disney on Monday

do you think we should go to Aquatica later in the day?

I also heard it get really packed? is this true and will close due to the amount of people

I would plan a day at both parks. There is too much to do at SW in one day.

You might even want to consider going to Aquatica early one day and spending a 2nd half day/night at SW to see the things you missed the first day at SW.

Aquatica was busy the first year it opened and closed due to capacity a lot that year, but it is not as busy now that it has been open for a few years.
Like all parks in Orlando, they get busier on the weekends because locals can get to the parks on their days off. SW is huge and the stadiums for shows hold a lot of people at a time so not as many lines to wait in as Disney. On busy days you will want to gt to shows 20-30 minutes early to get seats, though.

Almost forgot to say......you will love the night time shows at SW. Try to see most of the shows during the day because The Clyde and Seamore show is a satire on the park shows and it helps if you have seen the shows prior to seeing the spoof.

As previously stated you will need a full day at each park. If your going to Aquatica on a weekend I would recommend getting there early not late in the day. You can always leave early if you feel you've had enough time but can't make up hours by getting there late. It can get really busy just like any other theme park but I don't believe they've had problems with having to turn people away because of crowding lately.

June= Summer. Kids are out of school. Kids like waterparks. Aquatica might close due to full capacity in June. I agree with the posters that say 1 or 2 days at Seaworld and 1 at Aquatica.
