Sea World Animal Interaction questions...

Hi everyone I just had a few questions I was hoping you could answer for me. From what I've read there is a dolphin and sting ray interaction, are there any other animals you can do this with? (Without doing a tour)

Also how much is it extra to feed them?

Is there a specific time for each? If so what times do they open up?

I'm so excited to be going to Sea World for the day during my next trip. I'm not that interested in the rides but I wanted to make sure I hit up all the animal interactions. Thanks so much for helping me out!!!

well they have the beluga interaction program (upclose and personal) without a tour but it costs $179..lol


The dolphins feeding are at different times (9am, 1pm and i forgot the others)( last i remember it was $8 for 4 fishes- for the dolphins. I dont like feeding the stingrays after doing it for nine years at my aquarium as part of my job..lol

We've only been there once, and didn't get to see everything (we did the dolphin tour and went to the shows)

However, I can tell you that anyone can feed the dolphins and the sting rays. There is an additional charge for this - not sure how much, but I know it is cash only. I think it was $3 to feed the rays and $7 to feed the dolphins.

There are a lot of other animals, including manatees but I'm not sure which ones you can feed.

We LOVED the dolphin show and the Shamu show.

You can feed:
Dolphins
Rays
Sea Lions
and Sharks

without going on a tour.

Feeding the dolphins is the most difficult to do as they have set times.

yes, the dolphins have posted times -- you'll see them right at the entrance to the feeding area.
