Has anyone tried to do both? I cannot imagine my kids would last a full day at Aquatica. When we did WDW last year, they were exhausted by lunch time at both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

Trying to maximize our vacation days!

Thoughts?

I guess you could go to SW after Aquatica but if the kids are going to be exhausted would that be such a good idea?

You definately couldn't DO both in one day - you would have to go back to SW for at least another day to see / do everything. If you have 14 day tickets (or similar) to SW it could be worth going to Aquatica, having an afternoon meal and then going to the later showing of Believe... or if you wanted to do Dine with Shamu that starts at about 3.30pm.

What I'm trying to say is if you have tickets that allow you multiple entry's to SW it would definately be worth going in just to do a couple of things, but if you are paying for days at SW individually then it would not be cost effective.

I didn't think we could spend a whole day at AQ but I found out last week that I was wrong. We were there from about 9:30 to 4:30 and if we didn't have something else we were doing that evening, we would have stayed until close.

I was with my 8 year old son and my 10 year old niece by the way. I don't know how old your children are but I think you could spend the whole day there.

If you do split it up and go to SW later in the day, I would plan another full day for SW as well. There is alot to see there.

Have a great trip!

My kids ( at time of travel) will be 14, 10, 8 and 6. Probably be DH and the boys and me and DD ( the 6 year old). Good to hear that they can keep busy there. Planning a day there then heading back to our DVC home at OKW.

I think it depends on your ticket and what you're trying to accomplish.

If you think you can do justice to both parks in a single day, there's just no way.

Now if you have a ticket that will let you spend the next whole day (or more) at SeaWorld, then sure, if you feel you're through with Aquatica, why not pop over to SeaWorld for a few hours. (I don't recommend the reverse.)
