Sorry it has took so long to post this. The preview was our first chance to see inside the stadium in 7 months and the new set looks amazing.

We were told the new show will open in April. No exact date yet but this show is going to be a winner for sure. Any questions please ask away :)

The preview started with a look at how SeaWorld trainers train the sea lions for the new show for their different behaviors etc. We then got to see 2 scenes from the show to give us a little tease of whats to come. And let me just say this its so cute and going to be very funny.

Here we have a run thru of the dance class.

And this is when Seamore had to go see the school nurse because he "broke" his flipper. In fact he was just faking because he wanted to get out of gym class.

And the walrus does his signature behavior. The sit ups. Here is a picture

I went to the preview today, and it's really cute! Just beware to anyone sitting in the front- you will get wet (and possibly soaked!) as there is a lot of water effects

Hey @Joanna71985, I was at the preview today as well (the 2:00 PM show)! It was my first time ever seeing any part of Sea Lion High, including the new set.

First of all, the set looks fantastic and colorful! The show was great as well. It seemed to me like it was a full show, as all the scenes went together pretty seamlessly.

I totally agree with what Joanna said about the front rows. You really will get wet if you sit in the first 10 rows at Sea Lion & Otter Theater for this show. It's not like you have the possibility of getting wet or even just a few sprinkles - you will get wet. :) DBF and I sat in the 2nd row, and we did get wet - not soaked but enough to cool you down on a warm day like today.

I recommend you go check it out when you can!

Is the mime artist still there? Will be gutted if he has gone.

The mime was not there at the open rehearsal. I've read that the mime will not be there anymore, but I don't know if this is 100% true.

I was at the 2pm on Sat! I was dead-center, 3rd row

The mime is gone, unfortunately

I attended the grand opening show yesterday and went to all three. The show is put together well. Its funny and cute and lots of fun. The show is running 30 mins long so its one of the longest shows in the park. The soak zones are awesome. So much water everywhere.

Also as for the preshow. Its separated into parts now. It starts with a member of training team coming out with an animal to teach you how they train the animals their behaviors and get them to respond. Its a great educational component to the show and shows how SeaWorld bonds with their animals. The next part is a crossing guard character who comes out with a STOP and SLOW sign. He interacts with guests as they enter the stadium for the show. After the crossing guard is done and goes backstage again this is when SeaWorld comes out to salute all teachers in attendance at the show for all their hard work and dedication.

Great show and I give it an A+

I was there for all 3 too! Great weather for the last one, eh? ;)

I agree with you about the preshow- I love seeing the trainers and animals working together

So devastated! He was fabulous. My Mum will probably cry at this news!:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

My sister and I hated him (our first visit was way back in 1987) - he could be cruel and insensitive. We always arrived really early so we could slip up the nearest stairs without risking him. We would even hover until he was over the other side to avoid him. After we saw him make fun of a person with an obvious disability, we were even more neurotic.
