Sea lice season?

I know I've read that it comes out at a certain time of year. Will it be at the end of May?

I have cruised Disney 3 times so far and each time we have booked late May and now booked for May 20th 2004. Not once have i seen lice in the waters or had any problems while swimming at castaway cay.
