SDMT Media Event ...?

I have my plans all drawn out and I will be in MK April 30th and May 2nd. I planned this over a month ago and just saw something about a media event and a dedication event on a different post for those two days! I've never been during anything like this. I've got a few questions.

What are my chances of getting to ride this?

And

What do these two events entail? What are they like? What all happens during them? How busy should I expect the park?

I don't know the answers to your questions, sorry. You do know some rides in fantasy land are shut till 12ish on the 2nd. Barnstormer, dumbo, little mermaid ride and meet n greet ang ETWB to name a few.
I am going still on this day as we have reservations for crystal palace and it's our first day but think it will be busier than normal.

I'm wondering this as well. On our upcoming trip May 2 and May 6 are our MK days. Seems like there is still some debate on when the opening will actually happen, right??

I'm there 4/27 - 5/2 and actually my plans were made with MK on other days than the media event.
I'm actually very happy about that because I am anticipating that MK will be quite busy as compared to the other parks. Many locals and media outlets WILL be there as well as every guest hoping for glimpses of special characters and hopes of riding those days.

I'll be avoiding MK those days like the plague.
