Just a small tip for viewing your Fastpasses on your phones if you think you might have trouble remembering rides/times you made both sets of FP for. We took a screenshot of FP booked for that day and made that our lock screen on our phones. This way if we needed a quick reminder we just had to glance at our lock screen instead of 1.)unlocking phone 2.)open MDE app. 3.)checking FP in app. Also might save you a tiny bit of data usage over the course of your vacation.

That is an excellent idea!! Thank you :)

I put our pre-booked fastpasses into our phone calendar, and then set reminders for our SDFPs. Also make sure to take a picture of the kiosk screen before finishing out although if you do it with MBs set up on a different MDX, you can sign in and view them there. You just can't do anything to modify them besides cancelling. Making a screenshot your lock screen is a great idea. Having some record of your times is important though. The day we were at Epcot, the entire app went down. I couldn't see anything including my dining reservations.

Pixiegrrl, don't automatically assume the bigger rides won't be available. Over the course of our trip, I was able to get Space Mountain, Everest, Kilamanjaro, and Toy Story Mania as either 4th FPs

That would be awesome and appreciated! Glad to hear I won't have to be racing-I'm old-er and way slow. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Just reporting back in that the three cards I bought are all linked to different users so I've been able to use all of them for SDFP, along with our MB for our phantom hotel guest. I will say that having the phantom makes it easier to manage the timing of all the FP vs having to go back and forth between MDE and a screenshot or paper record. It's been working great for us the three days we have been here. Got to Hollywood Studios midday Saturday and was able to book GMR and Muppets and Frozen (other headliners were all gone). Got the three FPs I wanted at Magic Kingdom yesterday (Splash, Pooh and Little Mermaid). Left the park early , so didn't try for a fourth. Today at Animal Kingdom, got Everest, Kali, and Dinosaur for after our midday break.

Thank you so much for reporting back! Fingers crossed my 3 cards are from different users also.

Sounds like you are having an awesome time! Enjoy the rest of your vacation pixiedust:

Thanks for that. I will make sure to not rule the bigger rides out then as 4th FPs :) And I will make sure to take a photo of the kiosk screen as well. Thank you for that reminder :)

Just wanted to report back... and also say thank you.

I used SDFP/4th FP on my last afternoon in January but was still getting my sea legs under me so I can't recall what I booked under which. I borrowed my roommate's MB, but that won't typically work as she's usually with me.

This trip, I booked with Priceline, which automatically put two adults in the room, so I had my own (I was both my first and middle name.) If I had thought about it, I would have linked it to a fresh MDE, but hindsight and all...

Anyways, I used SDFP a little more. Sat AM, I had prebooked FPs at Epcot and then managed to totally jack my touring plan by trying something different that didn't work lol. Plus, Frozen was down... I got to MK with a prebooked for JC around 7ish. Used it and got one for Pooh, and when I got to the kiosk, I found a "multiple attractions" as Pooh had (supposedly) gone down. So I booked Pooh again, and Pirates and Buzz, I think? I had really wanted BTMRR, but it wasn't available. However, the "multiple" was valid for it, so that was perfect. Since the Pooh had converted, I was able to get another on the app (IASW I think, which had a 30 minute wait... it's my favorite so I was glad to be able to get on.) Weirdly, the second Pooh also popped over to anytime a few minutes later, yet the ride was definitely up when I walked past it right around the same time.

Anyways, I attempted BTMRR but both Pan and Space were down - leaving the FP line completely full and into roped turns, I'm sure from others redeeming their "multiple choice" passes.

Still, having the three made a very crowded evening go much better.

Sunday I had my FPs prebooked at MK in the evening, and IMO this is where SDFP really shines. I was at DHS in the morning and rode TSMM at RD, then booked GMR & ToT with SDFP. Crowds were weirdly light so I did ToT twice (walk-on,) went back and did TSMM with a ten minute wait before doing GMR, grabbing Starbucks, riding ToT and scooting out.

That evening, I was able to augment my MK biggies with Under the Sea and maybe something else? Can't remember. I did finally get to ride BTMRR, lol, as one of my prebooked.

All in all, it felt a lot closer to original FP and like we might finally get some productivity back. Next trip is a multigenerational group of 13, and I'm weighing the idea of prebooking for "full group" rides and using SDFP for the split stuff. Just question the coordination...

Anybody every try a kiosk while entering a non-MK park for a PPO breakfast? Just curious if I can plan for that.
We tried at Epcot and they weren't uncovered yet. We tried a little after 8 on our way to Garden Grill, but couldn't do it until after breakfast.

I assume that the SDFP on my infant's MB on my MDE will show up once I get them each day...will be key for me since others are on a different MDE.

I was not able to find any cards for sale on ebay. We purchased a magic band for everyone in our party, and then I had 3 extra expired cards-2 from a friend who had been to WDW a couple weeks before us, and 1 was my son's from his marching band trip that started our vacation.

I was able to get 5 extra bands off ebay, each has a different number. I tried to link them to a phantom on my MDE just to see what message I would get. 2 of the bands said linked to to another account (which is good and what they should say). The other 3 said to call disney for help and said you must be 18. I assume these 3 bands are likely child bands and that is why you have to call to link them?

Very nice advice, thank you.

I have read first page and think I understand. Just one quick question. I had left over tickets for ESPN single day admissions and A Water Park Party. (8 cards in all). I created a new MDE account and made 8 new phantom guest in it. One with our First names and one with our middle names. I have linked all 8 tickets and wrote the names and set 1 and set 2 on our cards so Ideally we could have 3 set of fastpasses each. Now I don't know that we will go to the trouble to use all 3 sets more likely just our premade ones and one more set but it is available to us if we want to try.

Here is my question. When I linked the tickets it showed up what they were like water park party or ESPN admission. Just want to make sure these old ticket/cards will still work to do SDFP since they weren't used for Park entry?

Last oct, we utilized extra SDFP with bands of family members who weren't with us and we were able to get on many more rides than we would have otherwise. We were there when Matthew hit but I was surprised by how busy that weekend was but we still were able to score Frozen, Rock &Roll, TOT, and toy story using SDFP. So I am looking to do it again this sept.

We are DVC members (which means I don't need to book through MDE. I just link the reservations, without credit card info) and we are split staying so I linked our 1st stay on my main MDE. I then made a 2nd MDE account with my hubby as the primary, under a different email and linked the second stay (just one night) through the 2nd account. We will get 2 sets of MB and I plan to keep the 2nd account our extra SDFP bands. I had to use their real names on the reservation and therefore they are on the 2nd account as well but that shouldn't be a problem since the accounts won't be merged. (hopefully)

We are planning to go to one of the halloween parties and I am trying to decide whether to link them to the main account so we can get advanced FP for just before the party (approx 4p-6:30) or keep them unlinked, forego the advanced FP and to use them as a 2nd set of SDFP in the future. Is there anyone who uses more than one set of SDFP? I just don't know which would be more beneficial. Our family consists of 3 teens so they are all about the rollercoasters, not so much peter an or dumbo. ;-) So having the advanced FP at 60 days would help us to score all the rollercoasters in MK before the party and then they can ride them again later during the party.

Thank you so much for this information! I read it twice and tried it this week with my old (pre linking) card I had and it worked just as you instructed! So happy! Thank you!

When you scan your MB, the CM can see your name. What about the linked party tickets? Can the CM see your name when scanning them at the FP entrance? Trying to come up with phantom names. TIA!

So your tickets or AP are on your primary MDE - but definitely don't show up on your husband's MDE? Good idea to double check.

You're thinking about linking the party tickets to your primary MDE. If you were going to link them to the primary profiles, then the party tickets can't score you a second set of prebooked FP - because each profile can only get 3 per day, regardless of the fact that they have two admission media (your AP and your party tickets). Is that what you were thinking or am I misunderstanding?

I think you misunderstood but I am sure it is from the way I explained. I just created a new account using my hubby's name and a new email so they should not be linked, but I will double check. Because we are doing a split stay, I linked the first DVC res to my MDE account and the 2nd res to hubby's new account. So, that second res will give us all new MB, not clones. That is what will be our primary set of SDFP.

My question is whether it is worth it to keep the special event ticket (MNSSHP) unlinked so that we have a set whole set to use as SDFP in the future (the tickets and the new MB, which will not be connected to each other) or to link the tickets to my (our main) MDE account so that we can get advanced FP for just before the party. My main question is "Is it worth it to have the ability to get 2 sets of SDFP?" Would we need/want 2 sets?

Personally, I think 2 sets of SDFP is too many. You'd probably end up not even using them all. One set is perfect.

So you don't have an AP? And you won't be arriving at the MK until you can get in for the party?
