Dang. I saw that on the first post but got confused by this bolded language at the top of that post:
Oct 2016 - a change in usage of the kiosks. SDFP still works, but when you tap a band or card for SDFP, the screen will now display the FP which were prebooked to the primary profile on the MDE (as though you had just tapped your primary band or card).
To avoid this extra step, remove the profiles of the friends from whom you are borrowing bands (if you are borrowing bands!). If all your bands are on profiles that you are managing, you can't remove those profiles - unless you painstakingly set up new individual MDEs for your phantoms.
Either way, it's not actually a problem. You just tap the screen to uncheck the name of the primary profile, then you'll proceed to book SDFP as usual. (This is going to be faster than setting up separate MDEs for each phantom.) Ask a CM for help unchecking the primary profile if you need assistance - they are there to help.
The second quoted paragraph talks about not being able to remove profiles unless you painstakingly set up new individual MDEs for the phantoms. I'm glad to go through the painstaking work between now and my next trip, as getting SDFPs was a complete fail for me this time. Is that still possible? Is that different from unlinking? (Please forgive my likely misuse of terms like unlinking, etc.)
With the changes that came into effect in October, I couldn't succeed at getting more than one SDFP at a time, for just one phantom at a time. Maybe that's the way it works now. Last trip, I was able to scan several bands in succession and then make SDFPs for the group of them (one attraction at a time). This time, I was able to uncheck the box for me (and keep the check for the one phantom) after I selected an attraction and time, but I had to do it 3 times for each band to get 3 SDFPs, and then start the process over with the next phantom MB.
I'm just wondering/thinking/hoping that if I could get the extra people from my prior trips (now using their bands as phantoms) off my MDE account, I might be more successful at getting SDFPs for multiple bands at the same time, since the system seemed to be thrown off my the fact that I popped up and already had 2 FP+s of my own reserved.
I wish I had gotten a CM to help me, but it was so crowded that afternoon and I didn't see any that were available.
Sorry for the long-winded post. I promise that I have read the first page multiple times.

Just trying to figure out what I may have done wrong this trip and how I may improve things for the next go-round.
Thanks!
