SD cards? Are these the same?

I recently ordered from online 2 sandisk SD cards. They arrived today and look like this.

My old SD sandisk cards look like this. Is there a difference in the cards or just a different design? The plastic holder is smaller, card appears to be same size. I don't want to open them incase i need to send them back.

Sandisk has changed the looks of their cards at least once since I started buying them. Those should be pretty much the same card except that the newer one may actually write and read a little faster than the older version.
