SD Airport Car Rental Question

Is there a "most convienent" place to rent from at the San Diego airport? Never been before and would like to make this as hassle free as possible.

You have two options, Avis and Hertz across from the airport and just down the street Dollar, Alamo, Thrifty and Budget. But all of these are so convinient I would look at other reasons to choose.

SD is a very simple airport to get in, out of, and around.

Skiingfast is absolutely right. All (well, most) of the car rental places are right near each other so it's best to search by other criteria. One thing to note, in case you weren't already aware, is that none of the car rental places are located inside the airport. You'll have to shuttle to them, as they are off-site. They are close, but not in the airport itself.

ive used budget in the past. the return location was perfect and easiest.
