then he need ed a good place to sit

then Scuttle was romanticaly linked with one of the key players - would Scuttle's judgment be compromized?

NO! Scuttles returned to his true friend and the scorned suspect was none too happy

Common knowlage rules. Fortunatly Scuttle could understand Carol's souther accent - she tipped him off to the real criminal..
