Is Scuttle's cove just for Kids's club programing or can anyone go?

and

Does it really have a strong *Little Mermaid* theme?

I'm mostly just curious. I'm thinking about booking my DGD an extra trip to the BBB for the Little Mermaid package before visiting CC. She loves The Little Mermaid and I'm sure we'll pretend she is Ariel regardless.

Scuttles Cove is what they call the Club/Lab secured programming on the island. It is restricted to drop-off kids ages 3-12. I honestly don't recall a particularly strong theme, but DD prefers to hang on the beach with us so maybe I just didn't notice.

Enjoy your cruise!

I was just there last Saturday. DD spent about 45 minutes there because she said I was too boring for wanting to relax on a beach chair for a little while and she wanted some activity. Like lanejudy, I didn't notice a particularly strong theme.

I wouldn't bother with a trip to the BBB before going because CC is mostly about spending time on the beach and playing in the water. The BBB makeover would be ruined almost immediately. They have a splash pad type area in Scuttles Cove so she won't necessary remain dry while in the play area.

I was thinking she might like the "Under the Sea" package with the bathing suit and fish-tail cover up for a Disney beach day. But we're already doing the FROZEN package for her birthday. She doesn't like pirates, so it was going to be a substitute for a Pirates' league makeover.
