We went scuba diving at Grand Cayman in December 2002 had a great time. The name of the company they used then was Red Sail.
At that time we had to tender into GC, but they picked us up very near where they dropped us off so we didn't have to walk far. They do provide you with all the equipment, but we have our own so I can't tell you what their stuff was like.
I believe there were about 10 to 15 people on the excursion with one dive master. They did a good job helping us and keeping the group moving. My hubby had a difficult time getting boyant so to not delay the group we aborted the first dive. That was the dive where they dove a wall. I was bummed to miss that. The support staff helped us re-weight my hubby and when everyone got back we went to another site where there was a wreck that had move up against a reef so we got to see a wreck AND a reef, a very cool dive.
The staff were nice, friendly and knowledgable. The equipment look like it was in good shape, but as I said before, we didn't use it, the boat was VERY nice. Clean easy to dive from and get back on to. I would book them if I went there on my own.
Hope this helps and is not too late.
