Scuba diving at Living Seas - Epcot?

I was wondering how old you would have to be to use scuba assisted snorkeling gear at Living Seas Epcot? What else canyou tell me about this program? I read somewhere that you do not have to be certified.

I looked on the WDW web site and couldn't find info. on this, but then again I am not very good at searching web sites.
Any info. would be appreciated.

The Epcot Aqua tour is available for guests aged 8 and up. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult though.

My DD19 did this tour in early December. You do not have to be scuba certified and I don't think park admission is required because they pick you up and return you outside the gates to guest services. DD's included a tour of the backstage area. She got to meet the manatees and check out the dolphins. The dive itself lasts about 30 minutes and you are buoyed to the top of the tank. The rules are you cannot reach out and touch any of the sea life. If they come by you, that's fine, but's it's primarily a look ~ don't touch. She got a t-shirt and a photograph of herself in the wetsuit. She's a marine biology major and she loved the experience.

There are 2 different programs. For "Divequest" you do have to be certified, and the lower age limit is 10, with a Jr. certification and accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also diving.
