I would assume that you can't take a screwdriver on a plane since 9-11, but my kids have games that will need new batteries while on the trip. Suggestions?

I have a lil nail kit that I bought at Claire's for $.99.I keep it on my keychain and I have never had any problems with it.I have used it as a makeshift screwdriver many times.

I'm not sure how big they are, but it might be worth looking into. If you're kids are anything like my son when he first got his leapster you'll be going through a ton of batteries! I know they sell them at Toys r us, but I'm sure you could find them on line too.
