Screenshots from new Disney FP+ survey HERE!

Took today also, my 3rd different survey in the last three weeks (last trip was early Feb).

Lots of change and lots of adjustments mean they need lots of feedback. MagicBands are tracking our arrival, touring, shopping, eating and departure in the parks. Add to that our spending in the resorts and Downtown Disney. Potentially they could track how long we stay in our rooms and more. They have lots of numbers in that regard. They will be meshing that data with our responses to find the best way to keep us in the parks longer with time gaps enough to spend money.

Wow. This is intriguing. Going during a slower time like we'll be doing in late January next year, the 4th revolving FP could be really valuable. I'll try to keep my hopes in check, but it sounds like there's at least a chance it will be a better system by next year.

Do the survey questions imply that they would get rid of tiering at Epcot and HS? There would be no point to having extra fp's at Epcot if you don't even use the three they give you.

I just did this survey today also.
We were at the parks in Jan.

I didn't get that impression, but I DID get the impression they were considering park hopping with FP+.

Also, they mentioned that the 4th revolving FP+ could be used on ANY tier ride.

So take that for what it's worth...

Very, very interesting. Thanks for taking the time to post all those screenshots. Option B seems most like the legacy FP system, and frankly I'd be willing to give up prebooking 3 and reduce that to 2 and just have FP #3 be the revolver, especially if that revolver could be used for the same attraction over and over again.

Complete opposite. They made no mention of tiering other than in the assumptions where they say to assume it is in effect like it currently is. They don't even ask anyone's opinion on it like the other aspects of FP+, leading me to believe it's here to stay.

It's not really surprising. Tiering needs to be in effect in those 2 parks for the system to function properly. If they want to give everyone 3 initial FP and they want them to be decent, they've limit the in demand rides. Not enough for everybody to get one of each.

I agree, you will not see an end to tiering in advance. If they didn't, the tier 1 rides would be gone in advance and people would not want to make last minute reservations or plans to come to the parks.

Agree with all of this. I would not be surprised to see tiering in AK when Avatarland opens, who knows maybe with Lion King show as it will probably be very popular. MK can absolutely handle tiering, maybe 3 tiers especially once the mine train opens. With 3 tiers they could even have a base of 4 or more FP+ there.

Notice that Disney SPECIFICALLY asks if it would change your departure plans. They WANT you to come early and leave late. I think that is another reason why they are considering the revolving final FP+... to keep people in the parks!

They must have noticed people just coming in for their 3 FPs then leaving right away - it's what we did on our last trip - scheduled 3 FPs one after the other and were in and out of the park in less than 2 hours.

This would definitely encourage us to stay longer - can't wait to see it rolled out (hopefully by April;))

This is my feeling as well. If this new system is implemented it will likely appeal to everyone.

Option A or B would encourage people to arrive earlier and stay later as they could potentially use more fast passes during their day.

So glad Disney are improving this system, it obviously takes time, but I think the possibilities have always been very exciting. I think the powers that be have been able to see the potential from day one and a lot of people who have praised FP+ have obviously seen the potential benefits.

Let's hope that the improvements get rolled out as this could really enhance the experience for all guests.

Anyone else notice that on the screen where they predict availability of FP+ during the day, there's no mention at all of Test Track or RnRC?

Do they want people to stay longer or leave earlier? If most people are staying on site, they are getting your money if you are in the park or not. I suspect they would rather see you at downtown disney than in the parks. Buying snacks at the pool. Having a leisurely sit down dinner. Going on extra price activities like golf, driving, fishing, Cirque, etc.

I think they fall in last column of "not available"but the availability chart only listed a couple for space purposes. That chart pops up if you clicked a link on the question page and was smaller than full screen unless you enlarged it.

Good to see this, its encouraging that they are indeed listening. I agree I would want Option B but could also see Option C as well.

Note I have not been to DW since they rolled out FP+ so correct me if I am way off base here:
Another thing they should consider is putting a fast pass+ scanner by each ride where you could walk by and scan your magic band to add the 4th FP+ at the next available time slot. I could easily see the kiosks getting overloaded as people try to schedule their 4th FP+ over and over.

Wow, this is great to see. I like the fact that WDW actually put out a survey that yields actual information instead of:

How magical was your Disney vacation?
A. Super Magical
B. Amazingly Magical
C. Incredibly Magical

I like option B but would gladly take any of them, especially if hopping were incorporated.

It is my understanding- that Fastpass+ is in a testing mode...nothing has ever been finalized. Disney has been loud and clear that they will continue to test and make adjustments to the FastPass+ system -----but the complainers didn't "believe" it. Now- things are looking much better and they want to try to take credit for that....when positive FastPass+ folk here have been saying this all along. NOT!!!!! :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2

Option B (as seen in my screenshots) is BY FAR the best.

It's almost even better than FP- because with FP- you could only hold one FP at a time. With Option B you could hold 3 at a time at ALL times! And after your first 3 there are NO tier restrictions!

Park hopping needs to be fixed too though.

Option B for sure. :thumbsup2 I'd love this, IF your 4th-and-beyond FP+ can be a repeat of something you've already pre-booked.

The 1 pm thing is just a disaster waiting to happen, and I really dislike the idea of having to use all 3 pre-booked FP+ before you get any more - as posters have said, sometimes you want to ride a certain ride at night, or you have FP for MSEP/Wishes/Illuminations/Fantasmic.
