Hello everyone, Is it good to use screenshots of the photos for online check in? I would like them to process as quickly as possible! Thanks

I have taken photos with my phone and used those but not screenshots.

Idk what DCL will do with screenshots but phone pics work just fine

We used my phone for the pictures. They didn't like the one of my husband and took a new one at check in.

OP, a note here, when doing the online check in, if they say "pending review" after putting in photos/information, just keep on going. That "pending" notice doesn't usually clear until just before sailing. Don't assume the photo hasn't been accepted.

We do this, to make sure the ID photos and passport pages are the most recent photos. I would caution that you should try to screenshot a full-size photo, which ends up being about the same resolution… I suspect if you zoom enough you could have a problem.

I had to use a screenshot when it wouldn’t accept a larger photo. I was shocked as the screen shot was maybe 1/10th of the original photo.

My parents are doing B2B in Europe starting in May and last night my dad was asking about checking in (he knows its not until 30 days prior). I remember what a nightmare them checking in for our cruise last May was - to the point that I had them send me pics of all their stuff and did it for them. Looking ahead, I figured this could be an issue in the future so I saved all of that in a folder on my computer.

Last night I said "Just get me your password and the date(s) and I'll do it for you." It'll make it easier and less stressful all around - especially since he's already stressing about the international flights, etc. (not like he hasn't flown to MALAWI before for mission trips!!)

Thankfully they have DCL transportation from the hotel to the ship so I don't have to do the stay up until Midnight to get them an early PAT - I don't think. Does DCL transportation in Europe work the same way as here where you don't select a PAT if you have it?

It's been a few years since we sailed DCL in Europe, but each time we stayed in a hotel booked through Disney where a lot of other people were also staying. They had a check-in desk either in the lobby (Barcelona) or in a meeting room (Barcelona - different time - and London) - open only a few hours a day a day or two before the cruise - and we were given a selection of times for the transportation. We got immediate boarding when we got there and checked in so no PAT required. You might have to check with the front desk to find out where the DCL check-in desk might be. We had a problem finding it in our hotel in London because we weren't given instructions, so if you don't hear anything or know where to go, definitely go hunting for it.

Thanks. I'll pass it along. They also booked the hotel and transfers to hotel from airport through DCL, so maybe whoever meets them will help. But I'll let them know.
