However, something funny happened as I was reading this post to myself, inserting the full words for the abbreviations. After DH, DD, and DMIL, I continued on to Dear Dining Plan

Just my 2 cents,

Sorry if I sound like a jerk or something, but I really think that the people who are screaming on HM are just trying to have fun. The teens are just trying to have a good time thats all, its like when you are at a Disney Pool and some folks have young kids who scream and shout, sure it can be kinda of annoying but its all in the name of fun. Life is to short to get upset over things like this especially when you are in WDW and are on vacation, let it go folks.

Need I go on? There's a fine line between having a good time and being ridiculously obnoxious. I, for one, know that there was a point in my life where I was being obnoxious on purpose. Screaming at the top of my lungs for the entire ride would not have been out of the question. If someone had a dart to sink into my neck, I'd have begged them to do so.

Thankfully I have not encoutered this on HM, but hubby did get stuck beside to guys...mid-late teens...on ToT once that thought it would be funny to scream from the time the ride started...I mean screaming non-stop. Everyone was turning around shooting them dirty looks. Finally at the part where you move forward, hubby looked at them and said, "If you don't stop acting like a b**** and screaming in my hear, I will beat your a** when this ride stops!" I was shocked because that is VERY unlike him, but the rest of the car applauded him and the boys shut up.

The "it's all about me" screamers ruined my husband's first trip through the HM, but we went right back on, and the cast members were in character, and made it extra-fun for him!

I'm afraid of heights, and go on roller coasters and ToT to try to get over it, but will still scream from time to time. While in line for ToT, I overheard the young girl in front of me telling her mother that she's afraid that she might scream and be embarrassed. I told her that nobody was going to hear her over me, anyway.

Kids inappropriately screaming on rides in my presence will be very sorry they didn't exercise better judgment!

I would take screaming in HM over the OVER ABUNDANT FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY in Pirates... I left Pirates BLIND from all the flash photos taken...

And the picture takers were NOT teens... just inconsiderate, no nothing about low light photograghy, adults.

Don't feel bad, last year, I was at DL with my best friend, and we decided to ride POTC, and it seemed every flipping 5 minutes, the teens behind us would be scared by their friends behind them and it seemed like they'd scream RIGHT IN OUR EARS! I swear, my ears were ringing after that!

All Hail BamaFan121s' hubby!!! He's the man! If more people had the brass he does, the fear of repercussions would surely outweigh all these jerks' desire to engage in this nonsense at the expense of everyone around them!
