Screamin' ... no song?

I road Screamin years ago and loved the music with the ride. Just rode today and was surprised that there was no song. Is it not playing
aymore? I like the ride so much more with the song.

Hmmm... there should have been music. If you are at the Resort for more than just today, go back and ride it again. Before you get in line, tell the CM at the front of the line about your non-music experience and inquire about it.

Disclaimer: I do not ride California Screamin', but from everything I know there should have been music. If someone else who rides it frequently contradicts me, go with their first-hand knowledge.

There definitely should have been music. We rode it 3 times in a row one morning just last week and we had music 2 out of the 3 times....it is definitely way better when the sound track is on

The music's still there. But sometimes you do get a row where the audio is choppy or not working. It sometimes happens on Space Mountain too.

Rode Space a good 6-7 times on our last trip and on the very last time the music didn't play. We mentioned it to the CM thinking they may let us ride again and he just shrugged and said it happens (doesn't happen) sometimes. The music on Space is a must so it was a bit of a let down being out last ride of the trip.

This has happened to me on occasion as well. Likely the speakers on your vehicle are out...doesn't affect the entire ride. I'd definitely ride again.

Happened to us when we were there in May. We asked about it at the end of the ride and he said the music in the purple train wasn't working then. He gave us a rider swap pass to ride it again.

It has happened to me before. It's definitely bizarre when you expect to hear the music during certain parts and you only hear the rush of the roller coaster train. Seems like you just got unlucky. The music is usually there.

This is one of my regular rides. The soundtrack plays probably 95% of the time. It is a bummer when it doesn't play. I can't think of a reason why they would stop using it.

Yes, I can confirm that I've been at DCA and rode Screamin' a number of times in a row, and had some rides with no music, but most of the rides with the music... it can be car or train dependent.

when we rode it for the first time in 2005 it played Aerosmith, so much better with that music than the carnival-type that plays on it now. They were doing some sort of "rockin'" theme back then though.

It was playing a Red Hot Chili Peppers song one time i road it years back. Space Mountain played a different Chili Peppers song and had neon people dancing in space. Some "rocking" promo thing

Ah you're right, it was RHCP...it was the similar ride at WDW HS that has the Aerosmith one. Either way I prefer the rock music!
