I'm making two identical recipe books for my sons (they're a bit young yet but I thought I could build them up gradually!) so when they've flown the nest
they can recreate some of our favourite family recipes. I've got some Hungarian recipes from my mother-in-law, and some that I've used from magazines and others that I use regularly (you know how every cookbook has ONE page covered in mess while the rest are clean
). I've even taken photos at various stages during cooking some of the items, or my kid baking cakes and mince pies. But I've got a few problems
1. Where can I find good stickers and embellishments with a home cooking theme? (bear in mind i'm in the UK and we don't have the range you do!)
2. I thought I would print out the instructions to avoid confusion (my writing is awful!) but add journalling and "romance of the recipe" in handwriting, but should I print on ordinary (i.e. white A4) paper, or card stock? And what size? Does vellum work well?
3. Will printed background papers "fight" with the pictures (think a big saucepan of spaghetti sauce....)?
Any tips gratefull received! Just to add to the limitaitons they're 7 x 7 albums (CM Special offer - I'm a sucker for a bargain!)
