Scrapbooking stores in California

I wonder if any of you can help me.
we are off to California soon - staying at Newport Beach but have car and will travel.

Are there any good scrapping stores int he area. the only one I know is Scrapping in the Hills at Anaheim which I plan on visiting

So are there any more around the greater Los Angeles area.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one to do this!!! (I did the same thing while DH was at a convention in Pasadena a couple years ago.)

This one I really liked, it's in a mall, more to the North of Newport Beach, but if you've got the time and patience (traffic is bad no matter what time of the day). There were a couple others, but I don't remember their names or how I found them, this one is listed in Creating Keepsakes website. Maybe I found the others through the online yellow pages??

I used to live in Palm Springs, so know a bit about this if you are willing to go inland a bit. Right past Anaheim on I-10, there is a HUGE mall called Ontario Mills Mall. Across the street from the mall is a HUGE scrapbook store:

If you are looking for more cutesy stuff, there is http://www.collectivejourney.com/ for which they also have a sister store Crackerjack Too, in Redlands, CA. They probably won't have anything you haven't seen before in the scrap store, but the gift store and some of their ideas to bring scrapbooking into your home are pretty inventive.

Just a heads up. Scrapbook Safari is a great store but they are moving sometime soon. I got an email but deleted it.

If you are in Newport there are a few places you can check out that aren't too far away. (It is a bummer spending all of your time stuck in traffic believe me)

Scrapbook Oasis is in Tustin/Irvine area. Not a huge store but everyone seems to love it.

Tallmouse is a craft store in Irvine off of Jeffrey which isn't too far from Newport Beach.
There is also a new Super Joann's in Irvine too....off of Barranca I believe.

You can check out all of their websites too to see if it is worth your wild.

It is on a much smaller scale as WDW but it is just as enchanting!

HOPE I AM NOT TOO LATE. THERE IS ONE ON 17TH STREET IN NEWPORT COSTA MESA AREA. CANT REMEMBER THE NAME. THERE IS ALSO ONE IN THE DISNEYLAND AREA, ABOUT 15 MIN FROM DL. ALSO THERE IS THE RED BEE IN TUSTIN, RIGHT UP THE 55 FWY ON RED HILL. CHECK IN THE BACK OF CREATING KEEPSAKES MAG. FOR THE ADDRESSES. The Red Bee...I couldn't remember the name of that store for the life of me! They were at the Memories Expo in OC last year and had great deals on things. I just couldn't remember the name.

No I haven't. I'll have to check them out. They are closer to me than the Red Bee....My mom lives in OC. I live up past LA...I haven't been to many stores up here but it sounds like it's worth it!

Do they have a lot of QK at their store?

I went to the Ontario Scrapbook Expo last year and that store was there. They sold only QK stuff but they had the cutest make and takes. I always got there early so I could do them.

I live in Thousand Oaks. I usually go to Scrapbook Blessings or Treasured Memories, or Scrapin Safari....the last 2 stores just moved.
